Course description |
Students will learn about the basics of immunology, and the recent findings. I addition we wil discuss the immune system in relation to cancer and allergy. In the second part (Antibody Engineering) industrial applications of proteins involved in immunity will be discussed. The aim of this lecture is to understand the structure, function and diversity of proteins involved in immunity especially antibodies, and also to learn how these molecules have been successfully applied as molecular target drugs. |
