Course description
This course is one of the specialized courses in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The students must complete this course as this is compulsory. This laboratory course consists of 6 subjects, each of which takes 4 weeks to complete.Students are divided into 6 groups. Each student will take 3 subjects in this course and the rest in Experiment of Biomedical Engineering II. Students are requested to submit a report after finishing each subject. After finishing the first subject, the lecture will be given on how to write reports. The students are requested to give a presentation on the last subject taken in this course.
Expected Learning
Learners who successfully complete this course will be:
(1) Able to understand experimental subjects and carry out experiments.
(2) Able to analyze experimental data and properly deduce conclusions.
(3) Able to provide logical discussions on the experimental results.
(4) Able to write reports on the experimental results in an appropriate manner.
(5) Able to give a scientific presentation about the experimental results.

Course schedule
Week 1:
Introduction

Weeks 2-5, 6-9, and 10-13:
Conduct experiments. 3 subjects are assigned to each group.
(1) Vibration and resonance
(2) Optics
(3) Electronic circuit
(4) Bioinstrumentation
(5) Imaging
(6) Mechatronics

Week 14:
Lecture on how to make an effective PPT presentation.
