Course description
Polymer materials are lighter and more supple than metal and inorganic materials, and are indispensable in our daily lives. In this lecture, we will learn the basics of polymer synthesis and physical properties. Learn about the characteristics and mechanism of each polymerization mode such as chain polymerization. Learn about physical properties, such as mechanical and thermal properties, from both chemical and physical perspectives.
Expected Learning
1) Understanding of polymer materials around us
2) Understanding of methods and mechanisms for synthesizing macromolecules
3) Understanding the mechanical and thermal properties of macromolecules
