Course description |
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a method for calculating thermal fluid flow and has widely been used in industry. The objectives of the course are to understand the basic knowledge of CFD and to review fluid dynamics. Specifically, we focus on to understand the meaning of the basic formula of fluid dynamics by creating a Python program and visualizing calculation results such as a flow field. *This course is an elective subject of the department curriculum. *The class code of Google class room is ulex4xs. |
Expected Learning |
You will be able to understand the basic equations of fluid dynamics (Navier-Stokes equations and continuity equation) and calculation method of CFD such as SMAC method. *Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps. |
