Course description |
Class code : pcnvpxi Automobile mobility society has shifted to CASE era: Connected, Autonomous, Shared/Service and Electrification. This lecture aims to describe the environmental issues caused by automobiles such as the energy efficiency, fuel consumption and engine emissions, as well as current and advanced technologies to solve such problems. In addition, the future technology for automotive society considering the environment and energy problems will be explained. We also provide lectures about autonomous driving systems for solving accident problem, traffic congestion, energy efficiency. |
Expected Learning |
It is expected that the students should understand the current problems about energy and environment and accident issues in automotive society and learn about how to evaluate the environment performance and safety performance of automobiles. The expected learning result is to be able to explain the evaluation method of environment performance and safety performance of automobiles and understand what kind of requirements for automobile specifications should be in near future. |
