Course description
Students will learn basic and applied research topics in agricultural science and related fields, focusing on perspectives such as food, environment, health, and biotechnology. In particular, students will learn advanced techniques in the fields of biological production science and symbiotic society, such as food production, breeding, soil and field improvement, and agricultural policy and promotion, through experiments and practical training in the laboratory and field.

Students will acquire an understanding of the scientific logic of agriculture and related fields, the basic knowledge and applied skills necessary to explore these issues, and the ability to develop these skills horizontally. In addition, students will acquire the advanced technology necessary to solve problems with a broad perspective and a high level of insight, and advanced professional skills.

Course schedule
Students will review the latest papers on basic and applied research issues in agriculture and related fields, and organizational issues and problems. In addition, students will learn about approaches to solving problems by acquiring advanced techniques through experiments and practical training in the laboratory and field.
Prerequisites
This course is designed for the Double Degree Program. It requires 45 hours of study following the standard number of hours at the University.
