Course description
The aim of this course is to learn the fundamental theories and the research methods of humanities and social sciences for making sustainable and co-existent society and civilization.
Expected Learning
1.To learn the basic trends in humanities and social sciences related to sustainable and co-existent society and civilization.
2.To learn the research methods and the viewpoints of humanities and social sciences related to sustainable and co-existent society and civilization.

13:00~14:30 2. Hiroyuki Enomoto: Principles of Environmental law
14:45~16:15 3. Yoshitaka Takahashi: The situation and problems of environmental history in Japan
16:30~18:00 4. Taro Takemoto: Forest management in the Japanese Empire

Day2
10:30~12:00 5. Naoko Koda: Assistance dogs and human welfare
13:00~14:30 6. Hiroshi Yoshida: Economic development and environmental problems
14:45~16:15 7. Shigeru Okura: environmental Justice and environmental ethics
Prerequisites
This course counts for one credit and is included in the Common basic subjects.
In addition to seven classes in the classroom, students are required to prepare and review each lecture. And students are required to devote the standard amount of study hours as specified by our University.
