Course description
Agriculture and its related fields have an important role in the stable supply of food, land conservation, and local economy. But there are common problems to be solved in the world, such as decrease and aging of people involved in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, difficulty in the maintenance of ecosystem management and the agricultural infrastructure under a variable environment. On the other hand, the change of lifestyle, the expansion of the world food market, and the change in the agricultural field are opportunities to realize new agricultural innovations. In this lecture, while specializing in agriculture and related fields, we introduce the latest research cases that have evolved from the horizontal development of these researches.
Expected Learning
The standard of this lecture is to understand studies in several specialized field of agriculture and their relationships.

6. 6th (May 25th): Ose "Paper as an environmentally friendly material"
7. 7th (June 1st): Akasaka "Biodiversity conservation for sustainable future"
8. 8th (June 8th): Kawabata "Arid Land Agriculture and Food Problems"

This course is required for all of students in Department of Agriculture.

Submitted Report is evaluated by each lecture. This year Google Classroom will be applied, and students are required to submit through Google Classroom.
