This course also aims to get the capability for explanation through a discussion. SUZUKI Kaoru: Wild animal rescue, welfare, rehabilitation, techniques for handling animals and their samples should be realised. Outlines of animal anatomy and physiology, zoonosis, and reseach in wild animal medicine should also be realised. |
Expected Learning |
UNO Hiroyuki: Students need to gain ability to explain wildlife management and ecosystem conservation as follows: 1) the population dynamics for large mammals, 2) the population management, damage management and habitat management for wildlife, 3) the conservation and restoration of ecosystem. SUZUKI Kaoru: 1.Realise the activities of wild animal rescue and conservation. 2.Learn appropriate animal welfare. 3.Realise the techniques of handling animals and public health concerning wild animals.
