Course description |
Google Classroom code: yodz6w4 The aim of this course is to introduce students to basic strategies in scientific communication in English. In this course, students will be engaged in class activities such as presenting a brief summary of their research, making persuasive arguments, developing coping strategies for discussion, asking critical and constructive questions, and managing a round-table scientific discussion. At the end of the course, each student will give a presentation on their research, which will be followed by a discussion session. |

Students will learn useful skills for effectively communicating their scientific research, formulating arguments, and leading constructive discussions. |

Research presentation structure (IMRAD); Useful signpost expressions; Making effective slides; Explaining visuals; Handling questions 6.
