Course description |
Organic functional materials are utilized in a variety of fields such as electronics and environmental and medical applications, and their functions have become more sophisticated and diversified. The development of organic functional materials have been supported by progress in synthetic methodologies and elucidation of their structure-property relationships. Therefore, it is of significant to understand the synthetic methodologies and the structure-property relationships for further development of organic functional materials. This course is a part of organic materials chemistry course in the Department of Applied Chemistry and will provide an overview of organic functional materials, their synthesis and properties. |
Expected Learning |
Students will acquire the physical and chemical properties of organic functional materials, synthetic methodologies for them, and their structure-property relationships. |
