Course description

Perform research activities in an oversea research institute for more than two weeks. Basically, the research is planned based on the agreement on the visiting lab and your lab.

Expected Learning

- Can discuss on your research with researchers in the dispachtee lab. - Can explain the diffrence of the culture of research environments between the visiting lab and your lab. This class falls under the Department of Engineering Diploma Policy (C).

Course schedule

- Before visit: Decide the lab to visit and the resarch plan with your supervisor and the visiting lab's responsible person. The output should be clarified and so that you can prepare for quick start-up of your research activity after you visit to the lab. - During visit: Carry out research activities under the instruction of the visiting lab's responsible person. - After visit: Report your research activities in your lab to share your precious experience and findings with lab members, and submit the final report to the committee of dept. of computer and information sciences. You might be asked to have a debriefing session in the department.

Prerequisites

In addition to the 30 hours of class time, students should refer to the distributed materials, perform preparation and review according to the standard hours of our university.
