Course description
We will learn the field of photo-electric devices, electromagnetics, electric materials and their material properties, and optics and photonics, and nanofabrication techniques through this seminar program.
These fundamental knowledges are essential for developing functional materials and devices, leading to the realization of eco-friendly society in the future. Especially, we have been working on plasmonic metamaterials, which enable us to control the light characteristics such as absorption, reflection, scattering, and index. Our objective is the enhancement of photo-electric device performance and photo-functional materials by proper manipulation of light.
Expected Learning
The achievement criteria are
to be able to explain purpose of your research and to propose a novel research otpics.
to be able to think a practical approach for the research and finish the research initiaitively.
to be able to publish research article and discuss it.
