Course description
The students are requested to conduct an experiment to show difference of their approaches from the previous ones and discuss the results with their supervisors and the lab members to confirm the direction of the studies.
Expected Learning
Students are expected to acquire the following skills.
1. to design and conduct an appropriate experiment
2. to show the differences of their approaches from those taken by previous studies
3. to discuss the results with their supervisors and the lab members to confirm the direction of the studies

This course is carried out in each laboratory. The student must consult with his/her supervisor about the methodology in detail. The student must present the result in the laboratory and he/she must summarize it in a report.

Prerequisites
Those who take this course should belong to Uno Lab.
In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.
