This course aims to discuss the issues related to the organization and its management for executing the leadership in the R&D institutes of companies, universities, and public research institutes and learn the basic skills. In this course, students learn the essential knowledge and skills related to research organization management. Additionally, they acquire practical skills, including quality control, business models, and marketing strategies. |
| Expected Learning |

(1) To understand the fundamental frame and the theory involved in the organization management (2) To acquire the ability to consider the differences of organization and management and the factors that cause them among the R&D institutes of companies, universities, and public research institutes. (3) To acquire the knowledge of marketing analysis that is necessary for R&D management. |

| Prerequisites |

Although no special knowledge is necessary, it is preferable to take "Research Project Management” (The first half-year) as a set. Especially students who will work in the research and development in companies, public research institutions and now engaged there should take this course as much as possible. |

| Assessment/Grading |
| Students must attend the classes more than 70% time for evaluation. The grade has five levels with S, A, B, C, and D. |
