Course description
Students practically learn public fund acquisition methods for their research project proposal. To make proposals based on the purpose of the research funding system and the policies for industries, science, and technology, they will practice the research fund proposal, including attendance at the briefing session for competitive funding and summarizing the points.
The lecturer of this course has the firsthand experiences on technology management.
Expected Learning
Students learn the method to create grant proposal applications and perform a comprehensive discussion on them.

Course schedule
(1) Grant proposal progress: Students proceed with the grant proposal discussing the supervisor and other laboratory members. Students must move their projects independently by making the most of the suggestions.

This seminar is part of the standard courses and is the required course. In addition to the time in the seminar, students must spend the standard amount of time specified by the University on self-learning.

The grade is estimated by the level of the discussion, the presentation and the grant proposal.
Evaluation will be determined by the 5-point method.
S (90-100): Superior.
A (80-89): Good.
B (70-79): Fair.
C (60-69): Poor,
D (0-59): Not applicable.
Report and final presentation (60%), presentation and discussion in the seminar (20%) and, attitude in the laboratory (20%)
