In the face of intensifying global competition and changes in the technological environment, it is extremely important for researchers to pursue their own research in valuable new areas and fields in order to build sustainable competitive advantage. In this course, hot topics related with entrepreneur that have emerged in recent years will be covered in lectures and exercises.
(1) To understand systematically the necessary knowledge of the research fields of science, technology and entrepreneurship.
(2) To get ability to apply theories of science, technology and entrepreneurship to practice
(3) To understand the "state of the art" (state-of-the-art knowledge) in the research fields of science, technology and entrepreneurship.

(Assume joint group work of Agriculture Dept. and Technology Dept.)

Expected Learning
Based on their own research, they learn not only to be mere holders of innovative technologies and ideas, but also to (1) recognize and set their own problems, (2) create ideas for solving problems, design thinking,(3) understand entrepreneurship, (4) interview customers, (5) research and business plan creation methods, and (6) learn how to create their own planned products and services. The course aims to develop the ability to define and communicate "What value the product or service has for whom", to think through the story to get the other party to take positive action, and to apply it to real-life situations to move stakeholders

This curriculum aims to develop human resources with entrepreneurship who can lead the creation of innovations through social implementation of their own research results. We believe that entrepreneurship is a necessary not only for students who want to start their own businesses, but also for researchers who will lead research at universities and research institutes.
