Course description In the lecture, organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry relating to biology is introduced. Structures, self-assembly and functions of proteins and lipids consisting of living bodies are explained. Based on the fundamental properties of organic and supramolecular chemistry found in biology, methodology to design functional molecules interacting with biological molecules is explained.
