Course description |
Students conduct a one-day research in a laboratory. They need to chose two different laboratories except for their present one. Understanding and experiencing different ways in researches helps you improve research ability and learn professional knowledge. |

Course schedule |
This course is intensive. First, students need to select two laboratories except for your present one. After collecting all choices from students, we arrange the number of students for each laboratory. Detailed schedule and how to submit your choice are announced in the orientation for new students in BASE, April, 2020. Schedule and content are different depending on laboratories. The below is an example for a student, who study chemistry in his/her Master thesis. 1st - 4th Laboratory A (Computer and Informatics) Lecture : Fundamental and latest topics in informatics Practice in fundamental programming and analysis 5th - 8th Laboratory B (Plant physiology) Lecture : Fundamental and latest topics in Plant physiology Practice in fundamental experimental methods and analysis in plant physiology |
Prerequisites |
This course is required in BASE In addition to 15 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the Univeristy and using the lecture handouts. |

Participation to all classes without delay is necessary for grading. Contribution to classes (20%) and reporting (80%). |
