Course description |
Seminar is done in each laboratory to improve research ability and to learn professional knowledge through discussions. This course is included in Thesis Research etc. of the curriculum of the Department of Bio-Functions and Systems Science. Students in Master Course must complete this course as this is compulsory. |

Based on the research ability and professional knowledge obtained through the discussions made in this course, students who successfully completed this course will be able to explain research contents in a clearly understandable way to researchers in other fields. Week 1-30: Students will do the following activities. 1. Reading professional books. 2. Reading special references. 3. Reporting situation of research. 4. Discussing contents of research. |

Assessment/Grading |
Grading will be done by evaluating the research ability and professional knowledge gained in this course (50%) and the presentation skills that the students have shown in the seminars (50%). The evaluation will be made by examining whether the students have acquired correct understandings of the materials dealt in the course and can clearly explain them by their own words. |
