The series of "Special Lectures for Innovation Advancement I - V" is an opportunity for the students to consider earn about the processes, examples, and abilities necessary to connect ideas based on research and science to the real society, to initiate innovation, and to create and establish new value. The course is offered to first through third year doctoral students. The course theme: “Making innovation from business” What is innovation which can change society based on business or technology development? What is required to be an innovation leader who can promote the above process? By listening to the experiences of entrepreneurs( intrepreneurs )who are engaged in innovative activities, students will understand of the actual process of devising and launching new businesses, technological innovation, and social change, as well as the innovative thinking, behavior, and human resources that make these activities possible. In addition, students will learn about intellectual property rights, which are essential knowledge when engaging in these processes. This course will be held in Japanese. |
Expected Learning |
-Know how people try to make innovation aiming at changing society in real industry. -Be able to imagine and explain on what aspects or phases you can contribute using your research from wide and flexible thinking. -Understand the necessary way of thinking, action, and human abilities (of identification of issues, insight, logical thinking, negotiation, etc.), and be able to set your goals and make a plan to obtain them while you are conducting research in Doctoral course. - Understand the matters related to intellectual property rights that should be paid sufficient attention in social implementation and commercialization.
