「Organelle genomes in plant breeding」

This course is a lecture to acquire a high degree of specialized ability in the field of biological production science by learning the latest knowledge and technology in agriculture.
It is well known that cytoplasmic genes coded in mitochondria genome and plastid genome play important role in plant. Breeding approaches targeted them is expected to be applied in a large variety of agricultural production.


Expected Learning
Understanding of new objectives of plant genetics and breeding science.
Understanding of the genome editing as a new breeding approach.
