Course description
The purpose of the Wildlife Conservation and Management is to understand the background of the social issues and basic ecology with wildlife, habitat and human dimensions of wildlife.

Expected Learning
Students need to gain ability to explain the wildlife conservation and management as follows:
1) the inhabitation status of wildlife and the damage to agriculture, forestry and fisheries based on the research data,
2) the establishment of management plan, implications, and monitoring.

3. The bases of population dynamics (Uno H)
4. Overabundance of wildlife (Uno H)
5. Population management for large mammals (Suzuki M)
