| Course description |
| The purpose of the Nature Conservation and Natural Resource Management is to understand the concept of nature conservation necessary for proper wildlife management, the resource values and utilization necessary for population management, and the concept of natural resource management and the governance. |
| Expected Learning |
| Students need to understand the thoughts of nature conservation in Japan and western countries, to discriminate protection and conservation, to distinguish consumptive and non-consumptive values of wildlife, and to gain ability to explain the above things to local stakeholders. |
