Course description
The object of this course is to develop presentation skills in academic Japanese. Students learn how to summarize and explain a variety of texts in the academic fields. Classes also focus on developing discussion skills based on the topics the students have chosen during the course.

Prerequisites
This course carries 1 credit. In addition to 30 hours you spend in the class, and 10 hours in completing the essay task and presentation preparation, you are expected to prepare for, and review, the classes spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University for each class, using the handouts and the reference books specified below.
