Course description |
Basic concepts of the general veterinary public health are lectured. The lectures include the concept, purpose, overview, role, challenges of public health, the related fields of food hygiene, zoonosis, environmental hygiene, and animal welfare, public health statistics, and administrative structures on public health. The lecturers of this course have the firsthand experiences on public health at administrative agencies and a research institution, and will describe actual examples and discussion. As active learning, group discussions and presentations will be held. |

The standard of this lecture is followings: to understand the basic concept of public health to gain knowledge that can be useful for public health promotion, animal welfare, global environmental conservation, etc. through approach methods for solving public health related problems to explain public health services, their significance and approach, the role of veterinarians in the field of public health, the significance of national health statistics, the direction of public health activities, how to approach human-animal coexistence, laws and regulations that form the basis of public health administration, the causes of infection and the basic principles of prevention Please confirm the curriculum map of three policies on website of our University. Prerequisites |
