Course description
The involvement of humans and animals is becoming complicated, and the control of human and animal common infections is becoming more important than ever before. In this lecture we will understand correctly about zoonosis and learn how to protect both humans and animals from the disease. Firstly, the classification and epidemiological characteristics of zoonosis will be discussed in general and then particular subjects concerning etiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention about viral, bacterial, fungal, protozoan and parasitic zoonosis will be introduced.
Expected Learning
Understand the epidemiological and ecological features of zoonosis and acquire the knowledge necessary to control the disease in each work area of animals.
