To understand cellular activities, which are essential for life, at molecular level, I will give you my lecture using power point slides uploaded on the web "Moodle". These slides are refered from the good text book "Molecuar Biology of the Cell". |

1. Structure of biomembrane, transport of molecules through biomembrane 2. Cell cycle, cell division, cytoskeleton 3. DNA, chromosomes, genomes, plant genome diversity 4. Epigenetics: Mutation without change in DNA sequence 5. DNA type transposons and reversion mutations 6. Regulation of gene expression I (RNA polymerase, splicing, exons, introns) 7. Regulation of gene expression II (transcription factors) transgenic plants 8. Regulation of gene expression by RNA RNA interference, miRNA, RNA world 9. Mechanism of DNA replication 10.
