| Wood is one of the most important sustainable resources. We will make lectures concerning the mechanism of wood formation, especially differentiation and cell death mechanisms of secondary xylem cells derived from cambial cells, mechanisms of wood properties, mechanisms of cell wall formation, physiological functions of xylem parenchyma cells and their importance, crystal structure of cellulose, plant biomass chemistry, dendroclimatology, dendrogeomorphology and dendroarchaeology. |

Mechanism of wood formation, in particular mechanism of cambial activity, xylem differentiation, cell wall formation, cell death and reaction wood formation in trees.
