Course description
This lecture covers topics on the measurement of ecosystems and machinery, the flow of water and the mechanics & physics of soils. A series of experiments will be conducted for all the components.

7. Hydraulics 3: Measurements of the hydraulic jump phenomenon
8. Hydraulics 4: Application of Torricelli's theorem
9. Hydraulics 5: Pipe network calculation (exercises)
10. Soil mechanics & physics 1: Sampling, moisture content
11. Soil mechanics & physics 2: Maximum/minimum density test, plasticity/liquid limit test
12. Soil mechanics & physics 3: Compaction test
13. Soil mechanics & physics 4: Particle size distribution, soil particle density
14. Soil mechanics & physics 5: Permeability test
15. Soil mechanics & physics 6: Uni-axial compression test, triaxial compression test
