Course description
Under the guidance of each faculty member, students will understand the significance of their own research in preparation for their master's thesis.
Expected Learning
Acquire the knowledge necessary for master's thesis research by reading the literature on their own.

Course schedule
It shall be conducted on a laboratory-by-laboratory basis, in seminars held regularly in each laboratory,
1) Acquire fundamental knowledge related to one's own research,
2) Students will read textbooks, cutting-edge literature, and reviews to gain a systematic understanding of the origins of their research field and to clarify the position of the research they are conducting,
3) Train to give oral presentations,
4) Present the results of their own research and discuss them for higher research under the advice of their supervisor.
Prerequisites
Students are recommended to prepare for and revise the seminar, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the seminar handouts as well as the references specified below.

Assessment/Grading
The faculty members of each laboratory will evaluate the students' understanding of the literature lectures, the construction of their presentations, and their attitude toward the seminar, etc., at a rate according to the method used by each laboratory to conduct the seminar.
