Course description |
Under the guidance of each faculty member, the student will formulate an experimental plan and conduct preliminary and exploratory experiments in preparation for the master's thesis. The results obtained will be summarized and reported as appropriate, discussed with the supervisor, and the direction of the research for the master's thesis will be clarified based on the results of the discussions. |
Expected Learning |
(1) Spend necessary and sufficient time on their daily work and tackle their tasks with enthusiasm, persistence and diligence. (2) Clearly explain the purpose of the research based on the academic and social background. (3) Target refinement and research methods are being considered consistent with the objectives of the study. (4) Has initiated specific activities to achieve the objectives of the research. Can explain his/her activities in a logical and scientific manner. (5) Presentation materials are easy to understand and can be explained to the audience in a polite and clear manner. Course schedule |
It shall be conducted on a laboratory-by-laboratory basis. Acquire the following skills to conduct the experiments required for the master's thesis. 1) Ability to research literature necessary for designing experiments, 2) Ability to construct the necessary systems for experiments, 3) Ability to analyze experimental results and derive results on one's own |

Each laboratory faculty member will evaluate the students based on their attitude toward the experiment, their problem-solving skills and precision, the accuracy of their experimental results, their level of achievement, and their ingenuity in conducting the experiment. |
