Course description
This course introduces environmental problems and their countermeasures, and likewise strategies and management in order to make the countermeasures implemented in practice.
Students will be equipped with knowledge on overviews of environmental problems, challenges, and countermeasures. Subsequently, they will be able to discuss an effectiveness of project management for environmental problems in a quantitative and holistic way.
Expected Learning
Students will be able to:
1. comprehensively observe existent environmental problems in the levels of city, regional and intracontinental scales, and to extract their inherent challenges.
2. understand principles of basic technologies for environmental problems.
3. understand management methods to solve challenges based on water, wastes, air and chemical compounds.
