Course description |
Select a technological field in which you are involved or a product that is the result of your research, and investigate and analyze the actual conditions of the management strategy and the latest technological trends in the field. After clarifying the positioning of the research theme, the significance of the research, the functional performance required by the market, and the superiority of the product over competing technologies will be discussed. The research theme is then analyzed. Through these activities, students will develop their skills in trend analysis, benchmarking, etc. <Applied Development Program Using the industrial technology field related to the "thesis theme" of each student as a case study, research and analyze the status of conventional technology development and R&D based on theses, journals, exhibitions, company interviews, and so on. The students investigate and analyze the status of conventional technological development and research and development based on dissertations, journals, exhibitions, company interviews, and so on. Based on the results, the novelty and usefulness of their own theme will be clarified and reflected in their dissertation. This will enable students to predict trends in technological fields and develop future plans and benchmarking skills. Based on the results, students will clarify the superiority, novelty, business model, and business potential of the idea and content of their own theme, and reflect them in their proposal or dissertation. 1st Orientation 2ndDetermination of survey policy 3rdDevelopment of research plan 4th~13th Report on the status of the survey (Students will report on the progress of their own survey under the guidance of the instructor, conduct a literature review, make a presentation, and have a discussion). Prerequisites |
This is a required course, and it is recommended that students take it in their first year. In addition to the time required for the seminar and its preparation, students are required to complete a self-study course equivalent to the standard number of hours required by the University of Tokyo.
