Course description
Acquire practical information gathering and analysis skills by collecting and analyzing technical and market information, including trends, necessary for formulating their own "research project proposals" by utilizing the knowledge of technology management acquired at the university. Furthermore, the results will be reflected in the proposal as information on the commercialization environment.

Report on the status of the research (Students will report on the progress of their own research under the guidance of the instructor, conduct a literature review, make a presentation, and hold a discussion).

Prerequisites
This is a required course, and it is recommended that students take it in their first year. In addition to the time required for the seminar and its preparation, self-study equivalent to the standard number of hours at the University is required.
In order to receive credit, students are required to write a report and make a presentation within the department. The style of the report is to be specified by the supervising professor.
