Course description
Acquire practical information gathering and analysis skills by gathering and analyzing technical and market information, including social trends, necessary for formulating their own "research project proposal" or "dissertation. As an in-house entrepreneur/venture company president, develop a business plan proposal to propose a new business or start a venture company and reflect it in the research project proposal/dissertation.

Session 1st Orientation
Session 2nd Determination of the theme and policy of commercialization
Session 3rdPlanning of commercialization (1st business model canvas creation)
Session 4th to Session 13th
(For each research, we will review the 3C (Competitor, Company Customer) analysis, STP, Positioning Map, SOW-TOWS analysis, VARIO analysis, and 4C (VARIO) analysis, which are frameworks to examine marketability and Business Feasibility. Analysis, VARIO analysis, 4C (Cost, Customer value, Convenience, Communication)/4P (Product, Price, Place Promotion) analysis, 5-force analysis, value chain analysis, etc., and patent analysis. The students will also conduct patent analysis, create a second business model canvas, confirm customer needs, and further develop their research on business feasibility by utilizing faculty members' and third parties' guidance and advice. (The students will proceed under the direction of the faculty members in charge, report on their progress, conduct a literature review, make presentations, and engage in discussion.)
(2) Introduction of literature and papers (Students will read relevant journal papers and literature on products and markets according to their research policy. (Students will clarify the position of their business plan through the research.)

Prerequisites
This course is compulsory and must be taken in the first or second year. In addition to the time required for the seminar and its preparation, students must complete a self-study course equivalent to the standard number of hours needed for the University.

The student must present at an off-campus venture pitch, acceleration program, business contest, etc., before the presentation in the major.
The presentation in the major should be the presentation's content made outside the University before the presentation in the Department of Industrial Technology and Innovation.
The student must prepare and present a written report within the major to receive credit.
The style of the report should be by the instructions of the supervising professor.

Gradin evaluation will be based on the final report and presentation (40%), materials, presentation, and discussion in the seminar (30%), and attitude toward them in daily life (30%).
