Course description
Investigative research is carried out to deepen the technical knowledge about the related research of the doctor's thesis. Related literature are also reviewed.
Study promotion ability necessary for doctor's thesis preparation, technical knowledge are cultivated. The technical knowledge is developed by understanding text contents read in a graduation thesis.
Expected Learning
The aim of this lecture are the review of the neighboring techniques of the research theme and application of the review result.
Expected Learning is the acquisition of "design ability" such as problem setting ability, conceptual ability, creativity, planning / implementation ability, integration ability, expression ability, and communication ability.
Course schedule
The research contents of the doctor's thesis are reported in a seminar form and are discussed. Related literature are investigated, and the result is reported.
Weeks 1 to 10: Problem extraction and problem breakdown required for dissertation.
Weeks 11 to 20: Design of experiments and experiments necessary for dissertation. And analysis of experimental results.
Weeks 21 to 30: Consideration of experimental results and extraction of future issues.

Assessment/Grading
The progress of the doctoral thesis is evaluated (50%). Design ability is evaluated comprehensively (50%). Grades are evaluated on S, A, B, C, D, with D failing.
