Course description
This course is aiming to help the PhD candidates to gain the ability on the bibliographic survey, scientific review, oral presentation, and research proposal on a specific topic based on the latest scientific literatures on biotechnology.
Expected Learning
(1)To obtain the ability to investigate research.
(2)To obtain the ability to organize related research systematically and set appropriate objectives.
(3)To acquire the skills to communicate own research outcome to other researchers.
(4)Ability to conduct professional discussions.
Course schedule
The PhD candidates need to accomplish the bibliographic survey on a specific topic from global cutting-edge studies in the research field of biotechnology. The findings from the bibliographic survey should be summarized as a scientific review which needs to be orally presented later. The PhD candidates should also make a proposal on the specific topic and perform a scientific discussion with the faculties from different research fields.
