Course description |
This course is an applied course to learn the clinical significance of measuring biomolecules, especially in cancer after understanding biomolecules from a view of organic chemistry. In this course, we aim to acquire basic knowledge about proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and sugars. In addition, you can learn about insights into the latest engineering in measuring biomolecules as disease diagnostic markers. |
Expected Learning |
The four major biomolecules that constitute living organisms, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids and sugars, provide important information in diagnosis. The aim of this series is that by learning about the development of disease diagnostic devices based on bioengineering.give students their own opinions about future medical care. |
Course schedule |
1st class. Sugar 2nd class. Lipid 3rd class. Cell, immune reactions 4th class. Cancer 5th class. Cancer drug discovery 6th class. Biomaterials 7th class. Biomolecular measurement 1 8th class. Biomolecular measurement 2 |
Prerequisites |
The committing learning attitude of yourselves to catch the items and messages presented in the classes is respected, but not just to seat still to listen to the lecture. Substantial participation to the class is highly welcomed. |
