Course description |
Most of the lectures are given on-line together with face-to-face format. Lectures are pointed to the latest topics in the neuroscience field. The first half part focuses cell biological and developmental topics in the neuroscience, and in the last half part lectures are given by the leading researchers from The Brain Science Institute, Riken. |
Expected Learning |
Students will learn the latest knowledge of the neuroscience field, especially deep understanding in the cellular mechanism in learning and memory and wide range of molecular biological knowledge in the neural development. Learning outcomes 1: Students master the capabilities to understand and search biological phenomena at the molecular and cell levels. Learning outcomes 3: Students develop the capability to develop cutting-edge biotechnologies by integrating knowledge of life science and science and engineering. Learning outcomes 4: Students master the capabilities to search for causes of diseases and to develop diagnoses and treatments by learning basic medicine and medical engineering. Learning outcomes 5: Students cultivate the capabilities to understand latest research topics in bioscience and to develop original researches globally. |
