Course description
With a view to bringing up researchers with a broad scientfiic field of vision, students will be trained for a detailed bibliographic survey on a different theme from that in the earlier part of the doctoral program, preparation of materials for presentation and oral delivery of the presentation.
Expected Learning
(1) Planning of research objective
(2) Presentation of research findings
The goal is to improve the above two points.
Course schedule
Taking a topic from latest scientific literature, students will make a bibliographic survey on a different research theme from that in the master course. The survey findings will be put together into a report, which is to be presented orally.
The presented contents will be discussed from a scientific point of view.
Prerequisites
In addition to 30 hours in classes and time required for completing assignments, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references.

Evaluation will be made on the basis of presentation (50%), materials (10%) and discussion (40%).
