May 11th, 18th, 2023. 10：00〜 Hybrid(Face-to-face and online） Venue: The 2nd meeting room, 4th floor, Main building of United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, TUAT -Students learn about agricultural structures and production patterns in agricultural economics through academic reading of case studies. -This course is designed for students to acquire advanced professional skills in the field of Agriculture, Forestry, and Symbiotic Sociology by learning cutting-edge knowledge and techniques in agricultural sciences. -The course is designed to practice active learning (AL) through dialogue and discussion. See above for dates, times, and locations of courses. -The course will be held in a hybrid of face-to-face and online foams. |

-To acquire the socio-economic analytical perspectives on regional agriculture. -To understand the approach of Marxian economics. -Please refer to the curriculum map in the course guide. |

-The students are expected to read all the literature selected by the instructor in advance, summarize the contents of their assigned sections, and present them with own comments in class, followed by discussion in class. -This is a one-day intensive course, with examination of the designated sections of the texts. -The text may be changed if more appropriate ones on the same topic are available. The text will be posted in the “Classroom”. |

-To enroll in the course, please contact the instructor by email by April 9th 23:59. E-mail: sachiho@cc.tuat.ac.jp. -The students are expected to read all the assigned textbooks (including those to other students), summarize the contents of the textbooks you are responsible for, and report your findings to the class. The preparation of materials is highly required. -In addition to the 7.5 hours of class time and the time required for the preparation, the students are expected to refer to the distributed lecture materials and reference books, and to prepare and review according to the standard number of hours of our university. |
