Manufacturing, Distribution and Utilization of Fertilizers Date and Time (Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 10:00~) Place (face-to-face class): Conference Room 2A305, Mine-machi Bldg. 2, Utsunomiya University The course will provide an overview of the production, distribution, and utilization of chemical fertilizers, as well as a field trip to a fertilizer production site (to be determined). This is a lecture course to develop advanced professional skills in the field of plant production science by learning the state-of-the-art knowledge and technology of fertilizers in agricultural science. Guest speakers involved in fertilizer production and distribution will be invited to deepen students' understanding of the production, distribution, and utilization of chemical fertilizers. |
| Expected Learning |

To know the current status of chemical fertilizer production, distribution, and utilization, and to be able to explain the role of fertilizers in agricultural production. To acquire flexible and applied skills to plan and promote various research activities to solve social issues from multifaceted viewpoints by taking advantage of the characteristics of agriculture as an applied integrated science. To acquire the ability to constantly review the position of one's field of specialization in domestic and international society and the social needs it meets from a relative perspective, and to acquire the self-improvement skills to continue to explore issues and challenge oneself to change, based on the relevance of other fields of study. |
