Course description
●From 10:00 on November 8, 2023 (Wednesday), the lecture will be held face-to-face in the second meeting room on the 4th floor of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences Building, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (Fuchu).
●I will introduce the pathways and mechanisms of coevolution and differentiation in plant pathogens-plants from the perspective of macro-micro and genomic science.
●This is a lecture subject for acquiring advanced specialized skills in the field of biological production science by learning cutting-edge knowledge and technology in agriculture.
●In the lecture, questions and answers will be used extensively to deepen understanding of the hypothesis testing process.
Expected Learning
●Students will be able to understand the plant-pathogen interaction, which is the basis of plant pathology.
●Students will be able to understand the coevolution and differentiation in plant pathogens-plants from the perspectives of molecular phylogeny, genomics, and molecular biology.
●Students will be able to understand the concept of hypothesis testing and experiment settings in research.
●Please refer to the curriculum map in the registration guide.
