Course description
This lecture will be held on July 20, 2023 (Thu.) from 10:00 a.m. in the 2nd meeting room, 4th floor, Main building of United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, TUAT. Lectures will cover the science related to plant biomass decomposition and conversion technologies. This course is designed for students to acquire advanced specialized skills in the field of Symbiotic Science of Environment and Natural Resources through the study of cutting-edge knowledge and technology in agricultural science.
Expected Learning
Explain decomposition and conversion technologies for plant biomass. Please refer to the curriculum map in the course guide for the relation to the perspectives of the diploma policy.
Course schedule
The course will cover "What is plant biomass?", "decomposition of plant biomass" and "conversion technologies for plant biomass", respectively.
The course content may be modified according to the progress of the class.
Prerequisites
In addition to class time and and the time required for writing reports, students must prepare and review for the course according to the University's standard number of hours.

Attitude toward class participation 30%: Students will be evaluated on contribution to the lecture
