July 27, 2023 ( Thu.) 10:00 - The 2nd meeting room, 4th floor, Main building of United Graduate School of Agricultural Science, TUAT In this course students will first learn the history of agriculture and of the farm village in target agricultural regions for rural planning schemes in order to develop deeper insight into the actual mechanisms of the numerous problems the target region is currently facing. Then, they will be provided with the foundation of knowledge for rural planning through selected focus on land usage planning as well as improvements in the agricultural production base and living environment. Finally, students will master the methodology for revitalization of agricultural regions and understand the social significance of efforts in rural planning including the roles that universities can play in communities from reviewing actual cases and real-life examples. |
Expected Learning |
Students enrolled in this course are expected to master the basic knowledge of agriculture and a farming village from the perspective of technology-based planning theories with the focus on land usage planning, the government’s agricultural policy, and strategies for revitalization of regional communities.
