概要

生物の機能を分子生物学、バイオテクノロジーの視点から学ぶ。また、生物機能を利用した持続的農業生産・環境保全技術について学ぶ。 This lecture outlines biological functions from the viewpoints of molecular biology and biotechnology. Case studies will be provided to explore, develop, and improve new biological functions for biological production, resource management, and environmental conservation.

到達基準

As a result of successfully completing this course, you will be able to: (i)Explain basic knowledge about molecular biology and biotechnology. (ii)Provide basic information about (micro)biological functions. (iii)Review basic procedures to utilize (micro)biological functions for agriculture and environmental conservation. (iv)Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various biotechnology.
