概要

The objective of this class is to deepen the understanding of current status and issues in agriculture, agricultural and rural development, food and nutrition security, environmental conservation, poverty reduction, international cooperation, etc. through comparative review of case studies in Asia and Africa.

授業内容

Deliver a lecture on the agriculture, agricultural and rural development in Asia and Africa. Conduct a workshop on issues and measures concerning agricultural and rural development. Students to submit a report based on what you have learnt in the class. The schedule will be announced later. (2017 schedule) 1~5. Overview of the agriculture in Asia and Africa 6~10. Issues in agricultural and rural development and international cooperation 11~15. Workshop

Students entering this class are assumed to have had learned plant physiology and statistics. To conduct learning according to the learning time of our university.
